Poorvaja Kelkar (She/They) | Creative Psychotherapist & Counsellor
About Poorvaja
Poorvaja Kelkar is a London-based creative psychotherapist who weaves together dance, drama, and art therapy within a person-centred, integrative approach. Guided by the belief that each person holds the potential for growth and healing, they create a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their inner worlds.
Their work is rooted in queer and neuro-inclusive values, cultural sensitivity, and a trauma-informed lens. They support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, sexual health concerns, and those seeking to reconnect with self-care, often drawing on somatic practices as part of the therapeutic process.
With over four years of experience, they have worked with a rich diversity of people — women, young adults, immigrants, people seeking asylum, and older adults — in both online and in-person settings. Their practice honours the uniqueness of each client’s story, holding space for creativity, authenticity, and transformation.
