How we Work
Our clinic provides specialist psychological services delivered within a culturally-aware framework. We work with adults, couples, and families seeking thoughtful, evidence-based care for trauma-related, emotional, and relational difficulties.
All work is grounded in professional standards, clinical governance, and ethical practice. Services are offered in London and remotely across the UK, subject to clinical assessment and suitability
-
We work within a structured framework designed to ensure that care is appropriate, proportionate, and safe.
This includes:
Assessment prior to commencing therapy
Clear treatment planning
Ongoing review of clinical appropriateness
Consultant oversight of all work delivered within the service
Where appropriate, care may be delivered by a suitably qualified associate clinician working under consultant governance.
-
Following assessment, a treatment plan is agreed collaboratively. This may include:
Individual psychological therapy
EMDR intensives or structured EMDR courses
Couples or family therapy
Time-limited or ongoing work, depending on need
Therapy is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains clinically appropriate and aligned with individual or relational needs.
-
To provide safe and ethical care, we work within clearly defined boundaries.
Our service:
Is not a crisis or emergency service
Does not provide 24-hour support
Is not a substitute for acute mental health care
Where individuals require urgent, intensive, or crisis-level support, we will recommend alternative services better suited to those needs.
-
All work is conducted in line with professional, ethical, and legal standards. Confidentiality is respected and maintained, subject to safeguarding and legal obligations.
Clear information about confidentiality, consent, and data protection is provided prior to commencing therapy.
-
Psychological therapy is an individual process, and responses vary. While our work is informed by evidence-based approaches, no specific outcomes can be guaranteed. Our role is to provide professional, ethical care tailored to individual or relational needs.
-
Fees are agreed in advance and reflect the specialist nature of the service, clinician expertise, and consultant oversight.
Some services are offered as structured, time-limited programmes, while others may involve ongoing work. This will be clarified during assessment
We prioritise psychological formulation over symptom-led treatment.
