Dr Rina Kakad | Counselling Psychologist

About Rina

I believe that therapy is not a destination, but a gradual unfolding - a look at parts of yourself that have needed to be quietened. Through presence and creating space for pain we will gently invite other possibilities and perspectives. I work with those navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, identity, and the ache of disconnection. Whatever your story, I offer a place where you can be heard - without judgment, without distraction.

My approach is existential, which means I will encourage you to explore your own experience of being human. By listening to what you say or don’t say, together we will endeavour to illuminate the wisdom your body carries.

Clients often tell me they feel safe, seen, heard and gently challenged in our work together. I believe therapy can be a remarkable collaboration, we will work together at a pace that suits you.
