Are you ready to let go of the past and step into the most fierce, authentic version of yourself?

Hello, I’m Raisa.

I’m a clinical psychologist with over 11 years of experience working across a range of settings with young people, adults, and families.

Most recently, I served as Lead Psychologist at a complex mental health inpatient hospital in London.

The kind of therapy I offer isn’t about fixing you.

It’s about meeting the parts of you that had to adapt, survive, and carry more than they should’ve. As a South Asian psychologist, I understand how complex trauma can be - especially when it’s woven into culture, silence, and generational patterns. You were always told not to take up space.

This is a space for you. Lets reclaim it together.

My Approach

I’m experienced in a range of different psychological approaches, the key approaches that inform my practice are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing).

My approach is focussed on turning adversity into strength, and I'm here to help you do that. At every step I ask myself, ‘What would I want if I were in your seat?’

I understand, because I’ve been exactly where you are.

Why choose to work with me?

As a South Asian therapist myself, I have a deep understanding of cultural nuances.

During my clinical psychology training, I have lived and worked at the grassroots level in rural India, delivering evidence-based and culture-sensitive therapy within a resource-deficient environment.

In my personal life, I have experienced first-hand intergenerational trauma, mental health challenges and addiction issues my family.

I have also seen incredible examples of strength and resilience in my life, and bring this experiential learning with me to the therapy space, combining experience with clinical expertise.

Using my own experience with intergenerational trauma and other mental health challenges to develop empathy, I help other individuals heal from inherited trauma and navigate complex family dynamics.

Am I the right therapist for you?

  • You're likely a good fit to work with me if you’re a high-functioning, successful individual who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or caught between cultural expectations and personal values. Maybe you're the eldest daughter, a South Asian woman, or someone who’s always been the “strong one.” You identify as a cycle breaker - committed to healing generational trauma and ready for real, transformative work. If you’ve tried therapy before but felt it didn’t go deep enough, and you’re ready to move beyond surface-level fixes, you’re in the right place.

  • Not every therapist will be the right fit- and I may not be the right therapist for you. If you’re looking for a short-term fix, prefer a solely directive approach, don’t want to be challenged, or aren’t ready to prioritise your mental health, we may not be the best match. The work I do tends to be deeper and longer-term, focused on building a meaningful, collaborative relationship. I show up authentically and will challenge you when it’s therapeutically helpful. If you’re seeking generalist therapy or coaching, that’s okay too - my role as an HCPC-registered clinical psychologist is highly specialised, and not everyone needs that. If we’re not the right fit, I’m happy to help you find someone who is.

  • Outside the therapy room, I’m a clinical psychologist based in London with two rescue cats who keep me on my toes. I’ve trained in Indian classical dance for over a decade, and when I’m not moving, I’m usually surrounded by my ever-growing jungle of houseplants - plant care is my version of meditation!
